About Lucas Radon
Lucas Radon is a radon testing and mitigation service for the Toledo metro and surrounding Lucas County. The focus is the standard residential workflow: a continuous-monitor radon test, a written report, a quote if the level is over 4.0 pCi/L, an install that takes one working day, and a post-mitigation test that confirms the result.
Credentials
Measurement and mitigation work is performed by technicians credentialed through the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB). Both are recognized by the Ohio Department of Health and AARST. Real estate test reports include the credential number on the chain-of-custody page.
What homeowners should expect
- A same-day call back during business hours, or first thing the next morning.
- A scheduled test or install within 48 hours for most Lucas County addresses.
- Real estate tests prioritized by closing date.
- A written quote before any mitigation work begins.
- A one-day install in most homes, with a U-tube manometer left visible for the homeowner to check the system at any time.
- Post-mitigation testing at 24 hours and 30 days to verify the system worked.
